“Our challenge is to look, listen, and learn from the people so that we can support them safely on their personal journey. To be the conduit on which they may rely for personal, spiritual and integrated growth in their community. We view “community” to be in their home, the surrounding neighborhood, and beyond to be as diverse as they, the person supported, chooses it to be. There are no limitations other than those placed by an uneducated society. This leads us to consider the role we will play in assisting the person supported in educating the uneducated via community connection”
