Good Neighbors, Inc. has evolved over the thirty years of service to people with developmental and cognitive disabilities. It began as most providers of service did to take care of people with mental retardation and accompanying disabilities. The key in the beginning was “take care of”. Today we at Good Neighbors, Inc. have moved far beyond that ‘care-taking’ period and through a lot of trial and error as now one of the most respected providers of support to people with developmental and cognitive disabilities in the State of Maine.
